Nails salon or friend?

My long time friend has passed as a nail techian and started doing my nails but im not that keen on them and she charges 拢18 if i go to a salon i pay that bit extra but they are worth the quality do i get them done by my friend or secretly go to salon how would i explain when she saw them?Nails salon or friend?

just tell her you were in a hurry to get your nails done and you didnt realise you already made an appointment to have your nails done and they called you to confirm, and you didnt want to be rude and cancel so you just went and had them done, but you will bare her in mind next time. hope that helps
Sadly you get what you pay for and its a shame you dont like the efforts shes made to make your manicure look good. However these professionals have probably been well established and know a lot about the trade. So a newly qualified person needs all the practise and encouragement she can get. So you need to have constructive criticism for her. She needs to be able to do it just like the lady at your fave salon so watch very carefully at the salon and ask the woman doing your nails how she does it or what technique is called. Maybe tell your friend how you like them done.
Maybe u should just be real honest with her and go that, u would rather just get them done at a nail salon, i mean not be rude about it, but just explain to her that she does a great job of what shes doing, but u rather just take the time to get in professionaly done, u know no ones pressuring u to do it, so do what YOU want to do u know?! =] so hope things go well thats kinda tricky and scary, i hate telling ppl things like that!!
give your friend some time experiance is the key she is newly out of school and she hasn't found her footing yet i have been a cosmetologist for 15 years and this takes time i am also bertified to do nails i infact do my own nails just work with her tell her you like them ';___'; how ever you like them and first of all if she is your friend she will try to do it the right way give her time she is new at it. the schools don't give her the expedrience she needs they give her the skills she needs thats it. wait a couple of months than you will see.
Maybe you should mention to her something like ';Hey I like the way this salon does their nails because _____. Do you think you can try to do them more this way?'; Or something like that. Give her chance she needs practice to become perfect so maybe if you tell her the way you want them she can work on doing them that way and then will become good.
It's going to be hard to do without hurting your friend's feelings....which I'm sure you don't want to do. If you are not careful you will make her insecure about her work. That being said, you still need to be honest with her....I wouldn't sneak and get them done, because I am sure she would notice lol. If she does them at home, tell her you enjoy going to the salon to get them done....something about enjoying the atmosphere. That's really the only thing I can think of, it would save your friends feelings and you wouldn't be lying to her exactly.
if shes good then get them done from her, but if not then just go get them done, she will understand, just say i was out and i thought what the heck


went in and got them done, simple it works (ssshhhhh) lol
either tell your friend how you would prefer them to look or go get em done and then tell her you felt bad but that is how u wanted them done.
Tell her the truth if she gets the hump she ain't your friend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's your money so you should go where you want. You don't have to give a reason or tell your friend - it's your right as a consumer. Hope this helps.
