Gift for friend opening salon?

I have a friend that is planning to open her own salon soon (hair, nails, tanning, etc.) What's a nice, useful gift for her new business?Gift for friend opening salon?
A bouquet of flowers or an indoor plant would be lovely unless she's arranging her own for the opening.





Does she have a large coffee plunger or a dripolator which keeps a jug of coffee hot? Some really nice coffee mugs could be useful, as well.





If she has a digital camera, she may appreciate a memory stick for it. She will want to take photos of some of the styles she creates.

It all depends how much you are willing to spend.


I would appreciate a gift card to a home accessories store (she can buy vases, lamps a rug . . whatever she wants) - but do this before she decorates it!


Or go shopping with her for salon accessories and buy some stuff she chooses.





Or maybe get her some nice (go-with-anything) picture frames, A4 paper size ones maybe? for certificates and qualifications?

A plant or floral arrangement would be customary. You would have to ask her what brands, etc. she's going to use, so it would be right.???


Be sure you patronize her after she opens!
I think you should get your friend something nice to hang on the walls that you both would love and something that would fit in the salon atmosphere.
How about a gift certificate to Great Clips.
